Leftovers

I tweaked my ankle skateboarding the other day, so here's a couple pics I've taken that have been sitting around. I have a ton of placements ready to be put out as soon as my ankle is back to normal!

Yawl Know to Lay Low

"More Often Then Not"

"Yawl Know to Lay Low"

"Already There"

The best part about finding trash to paint on is I can experiment with no worries. It's getting easier to take risks, and that's new for me. The search continues...

Also, I'm really excited for anyone who found some pieces I put out! Pretty much everything has disappeared...

Ninety-Five BPMs

Sleep get slept on. I don't know either, but here's what I've been up to the past week or so.

Give Them Parachutes

Here are today's adventures in St. Petersburg.

"Solid"

This lone chunk of brick was found somewhere in the dirt next to an abandoned lot. I decided to revive it and give it a new home among a certain brick walkway. Although the shape and color of the brick is completely different from the others near it, it fit nicely in the corner there. It's having a blast already, I know it.

"Cool It, Cool Lips."

This park is always a popular meeting place, and a consistent stream of HELLOs and WHAT UPs make there way around the ears of all present. The communication at such a happenin' spot deserved to be highlighted by this painting. If you never talk to strangers, how will you meet anyone new, right?

Someone also took home/took down the cardboard double-talkers and one of the wooden double-talkers I placed a few days ago. So ephemeral, but that's what makes it so awesome.

Respect.

Today I Met THE Rainmaker

I found a lot of really smooth scrap hardwood-flooring in a dumpster and painted 4 pieces.

I placed each one in a different location around St. Petersburg. Hopefully when a passerby discovers one, they will feel a sense of total treasure discovery. I know I would.
I placed these two double-talkers side by side, with the building in the background being the main topic of their conversation. Fate will decide if the passerby looks over in the perfect position at the perfect time.
Within 10 minutes of placing the cardboard double-talkers, a dude name Marvin started talking to me about another building he was looking at. He seemed to be lost in complete admiration of this basic 7-story corporate center, and was completely pumped when I asked if I could take his picture pointing back at the building. It was pretty awesome to see someone get so happy over 15 seconds of "fame".
Marvin aka "THE Rainmaker"

I have a few paintings done, pictures are on their way.

ALSO, I bought huntermadeit.com! I'm really excited to get that going. REALLLLLLY EXCITED.
